INSPECTION/ TESTING FACILITY AVAILABLE
Standard Micrometers, Vernier Height Gauges, Dial Bore Gauge, Bevel Protractors, Combination square, Dial Gauge, Dial test Indicator, Dial Gauge Stands, Surface Plates, Straight Edges, Slip Gauges, Test Blocks etc. are available for inspection as per enclosed list.
Bench testing center, Precision V Blocks, are available for checking runout of parts. Hand operated water pump with pressure gauge is available for leakage testing. Go/ No Go plug gauges, Thread plug gauges and Ring gauges, Snap Gauges are available for checking.
Checking of Chemical composition, Hardness testing are available with our sister concern in our premises.
QUALITY ASSURANCE METHODS ADOPTED/ PRACTICED
Drawing is made for each part indicating tolerance, surface finish, accuracy and part is produced accordingly. In some cases, operation wise drawing are made for manufacturing for the operator.
Operation sequences are made for each part for finish manufacturing purpose indicating tools, gauges, fixture, drill jig, tooling etc. required to assure work done is to the requirement.
Inspection/ check lists are made for parts/ assembly to assure quality and records are maintained.
Change alteration made are recorded on drawing, fixtures etc. are to ensure quality.
CALIBRATION AND MEASUREMENT FACILITY AVAILABLE
Measuring/ Testing equipment as per list enclosed is available. No separate standard room is available for calibration, but one standard instrument is kept as far as possible for verification of instrument in use.
Facility for calibration / testing is used with Belgaum Material Testing Centre Belgaum, Sharp Instrument Service Belgaum, Cummins India Ltd Pune, Central Machine Tool Institute Bangalore.
